Two college friends, one Silicon Valley dream
SkillSets Online was founded in 2005 by two college friends turned business partners, Brad Sadur and Ronik Kar, who met their freshman year at UC Santa Barbara. Watching Google, Tesla, Meta, and VMware break ground in their own backyard, they set out to build something of their own.

2005
Founded by Brad and Ronik with a core team of about 5 people.
2009–2020
Grew from 5 to 200+ employees, partnering with SHI, CDW, and Insight.
2021
Built one of the largest menus of online training content in the world.
2023–2026
Expanded into hands-on labs and thousands of premium course hours.
